Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä (/kǣkæ/ /jîːviː/ [award] [province; territory]) is a subtropical Large Town located in the Doûvnḱínts̄r Region of the Confederation of Goblin Tribes.

The name Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä is derived from the Goblin language, as Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä was founded by Tsmtco Brënh Bregfëm, who was culturaly Goblin.

Climate

Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä has a yearly average temperature of 22°C (71°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 30°C (86°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 14°C (57°F). Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä receives an average of 274 cm/y (107 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä covers an area of nearly 7 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 2488 m (8162 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä was founded durring the late 16th century in summer of the year 1481, by Tsmtco Brënh Bregfëm. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the late 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä is buildings are arranged arround a single spacious flagstone mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the town a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The town posesses a fortified albit thin wall of querried stone. This wall posesses most of the features of a castle wall, though it is constructed from cheeper inferior stone. It would pose a minor chalange for an attacking army, though it's clear the wall's true purpose is to crush the hopes of bandits and marauders. Astonishigly, the failry decent fortifications are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. The locals seem to have responded to their slow downfall by recreating Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä as one of the strictest places imaginable. Everyone’s actions are clearly directed by laws they keep in heart and mind at all times. Orderly byond order is a phrase which the town brings to mind.

Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Large Town. Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä's grid is powered by hydrogalvanic generators.

Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä's natural decorations nor waterways.

Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.

Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä's citizens locals enjoy many vices and lustful appetites. They may have religious sanction for their deeds, or neighbors might trade with them for such things, or they could be followers of some ideology that blesses such pursuits. Their economy or their social organization is usually heavily reliant on such traffic, and to ensure its continuance they may have made bargains with various mortal and immortal powers.

Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known primarily for its use of abstraction and simplicity. Clean lines, right angles, and primary colors characterized this aesthetic and art movement expressed via architecture and paintings. Its design ethos allows only primary colors and non-colors, only squares and rectangles, only straight and horizontal or vertical lines. Vertical and horizontal lines are positioned in layers or planes that do not intersect, thereby allowing each element to exist independently and unobstructed by other elements. It is not that their geometry is impossible, but rather the style's attempt at producing works only describable visually was most successful..

The Mud Elemental, Medium near Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves consuming a local narcotic to channel Conjuration energies of tier 3 via guttural bellowing.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä was attacked by soldiers from another nation, with orders to raid Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä lost 216 people, 121 livestock, and 78 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 218, when members of Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä's militia enacted an operation to bring aid to another fighting force. The operation was complicated by a trusted officer who turned traitor and defects. The conflict ended with the defense of the vault against a siege, which ended in victory for Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Cǟcä Yêvy Kēä's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
